Aveen is known for her transformative Method that begins with functional strength & conditioning to restore holistic balance and create lasting change. Her thoughtful approach engages every muscle group: achieving strong, toned, balanced bodies.
Her love of movement began growing up in Toronto, Canada, where she spent most of her time outdoors, skiing, running, hiking, and camping. She was inspired by her father, a physician, and learned about conventional medicine from her science-minded family. She played competitive sports in high school and continued skiing while attending McGill University where she studied business and pre-med.
Building on the foundation of these experiences - Her science mindset, love of athletic pursuits, & the power of outdoor activity- She has continued to immerse herself in her studies, certifications and science-based education.
Aveen's passion to share what she found others has gained recognition from athletes of all levels and abilities to do what they love better.
She believes it is important to meet the body where it is. Her comprehensive knowledge of proper alignment, form and core strength optimize biomechanics and athletic performance. With continuous focus on the integrity of her teaching you move with continuous integrity, and feel how your body should operate: strengthening, neuromuscular repatterning, stretching and releasing. The mindfulness required during training sessions works to develop neural pathways between mind and body for high performance and lasting change.
